This guide walks you through getting your creamery set up on Fromag.io, from claiming your profile to managing your cheese listings.

Claim Your Creamery

Claiming happens on the web, not in the mobile app — head to fromag.io/creamery-partner to get started.

Create a producer account

Sign up with email and password, or continue with Google or Microsoft.
Sign up with your creamery’s business email (e.g. you@yourcreamery.com). If it matches your creamery’s website domain, Fromag.io can verify your connection automatically in the next step.

Find your creamery

Search for your creamery by name. If it’s already claimed or has a claim pending, you’ll see that status right away instead of a search result.

Verify your connection

Fromag.io verifies your affiliation one of two ways:
  • Automatic — if your account email’s domain matches your creamery’s website domain, you’re verified instantly and your claim is submitted for review.
  • Manual — otherwise, upload one piece of evidence: a business registration or license, a utility bill or invoice, proof of access to the creamery’s website or social account, or a photo of the business showing identifying details. See Logo & Photo Requirements below for accepted file types and sizes.

Wait for review

Your claim goes to the Fromag.io team. You’ll get a confirmation email once it’s submitted.

Get approved

Once approved, you’ll get a welcome email with next steps and a link to your creamery dashboard — your creamery’s cheeses now show up under your producer profile.
Already have an approved claim? Signing back in takes you straight to your dashboard instead of the search page. Searching for a creamery that’s already claimed or has a pending claim shows you its status instead of letting you submit a duplicate request.
Can’t find your creamery in the library? Request it to be added through the onboarding workflow in the desktop app — once it’s added, come back to claim it.

Logo and Photo Requirements

Whether you’re uploading claim verification evidence, your creamery’s logo, or a photo of one of your cheeses, keep these specs in mind:
Your logo displays in a circular frame, so use a square (1:1) image with your mark centered — the same crop-safe approach platforms like Google Business Profile and DoorDash ask their partners for. A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result; avoid packing detail right up to the edges since it gets cropped first.
Upload the best version you have. Fromag resizes and compresses photos for you when you upload them, so a large photo straight from a camera is fine — you don’t need to shrink it first. What we can’t fix is a photo that started out small or blurry, so avoid screenshots and images saved from social media.
HEIC photos from an iPhone, SVG files, GIFs and videos aren’t supported. If your photo won’t upload, open it and re-save it as a JPG.

Update Creamery Information

Once your creamery is claimed, you can update:
  • Creamery name and description
  • Address and website
  • Logo and photos

Modify a Cheese

From your creamery dashboard, select any cheese you own to update:
  • Name and description
  • Milk type
  • Rennet type
  • Treatment
  • Photos

Add an Additional Cheese

Go to your creamery dashboard

Navigate to your creamery profile.

Tap Add Cheese

Fill in the cheese name, description, milk type, rennet type, treatment, and photo.

Submit

Your new cheese is added to the Cheese Library under your creamery.
Complete listings with a photo and tasting notes get more attention from cheese lovers browsing the library.
