Writing a Great Review
Engage all your senses when describing a cheese:
- Aroma — earthy, floral, pungent, milky?
- Flavor — nutty, sharp, buttery, tangy?
- Texture — creamy, crumbly, firm, supple?
- Pairings — what wines, beers, jams, or breads complement it?
Try the “like with like” principle — cheeses and beverages from the same region often pair naturally. For example, a Gruyère from the Swiss Alps pairs beautifully with Chasselas, a crisp white wine from the same Western Alpine area.
Managing Your Reviews
- Edit — update any review at any time
- Delete — permanently remove a review
- Make private — hide a review from the public feed while keeping it in your personal history
Public reviews from people you follow appear in the For You section of your home feed. You can like and comment on reviews from your Buddies.
