# Notifications

> Manage push notifications and email preferences.

Fromag.io keeps you connected to the community through push notifications and email.

## Push Notifications

Get notified about new followers, comments on your reviews, and community updates.

**To manage push notifications:**

    Launch Fromag.io on your device.

  <Step title="Open your notifications">
    Tap the **Profile** tab, then tap the bell icon in the top right.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Notifications">
    Adjust your preferences for each notification type.
  </Step>
</Steps>

You can also manage app notification permissions directly in your device's system settings.

## Email Notifications

Fromag.io sends two types of emails:

* **Transactional** — account confirmations and security emails (cannot be disabled)
* **Newsletter** — new cheeses, community content, and cheese tips (optional)

**To unsubscribe from the newsletter:**

* Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter email, or
